There are many names for this sweet delicacy: cinnamon roll, cinnamon bun, sticky roll, or sticky bun. Since the 18th century, they have been a popular, quite sweet and, as the name suggests, sticky breakfast pastry in America. - Recipe for the delicious vanilla glaze with our vanilla:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 melted teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey vanilla
- 2 to 4 tablespoons of milk
Mix in a bowl (spread directly over the warm pastry). Alternatively, I also use vanilla bean paste, which reveals the black pieces from the vanilla bean. Enjoy!
