Our site is becoming accessible – step by step

We are currently working hard to make our website accessible. Our goal is to provide everyone – regardless of their individual abilities – with equal access to our content and services.

In doing so, we are guided by the requirements of the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) and the technical specifications according to EN 301 549 .

What we are already implementing:

• Improved keyboard navigation
• Optimization of color contrasts
• Structured heading hierarchy for screen readers
• Alternative texts for many images and graphics
• Focus on understandable language in key areas

Where there are still challenges:

• Some forms are not yet fully accessible
• ARIA roles and interactive elements are currently being reviewed and revised
• Not all PDF documents currently meet accessible standards
• Individual images and visual content still require suitable alternative texts
