Extra Mature Cheddar Bites by Dean's (100 g)
The hand-baked Cheddar Cheese Bites from Dean's Shortbread are delicious oat snacks that become an intensely savory treat with extra mature Cheddar. These little bites are perfect canapés and taste especially good with a freshly uncorked wine.
The Cheddar Cheese Bites are also available in 3 other savory varieties enhanced with chili, black pepper, or caramelized red onions.
The story of Dean's Shortbread began in 1975 in Helen Dean's kitchen with homemade shortbread. Her husband was so impressed with the sweet crumbly pastry that he decided to finance his local marching band by selling the treats. Thanks to the ensemble's tours, Helen's baking skills soon became known throughout the country. It wasn't long before Helen moved from her kitchen to her own bakery in the village. When this could no longer keep up with the high demand for premium shortbread, a large bakery was built on the outskirts of town in 1992, which has since supplied sweet tooths beyond the borders with cookies and other delicacies based on Helen's original shortbread recipe. Tradition is a matter of honor, and so the company Dean's Shortbread remains family-owned and continues to produce Helen's treats with meticulous handcraft for the highest quality.
