Worlds Best Rocker - Rocking chair made of untreated oak
Classic rocking chair untreated by Troutman made of wood
The legendary rocking chairs, also known as rockers in America, are the epitome of the American lifestyle. They come in a variety of shapes and colors and provide comfort on the porch or by the fireplace. The story of American Heritage also began with a rocking chair, which is why one of these adorns our logo.
Our popular rocking chairs come from North Carolina, where they have been manufactured since 1924 by the family-run company Troutman Chair Co. with a great deal of know-how and attention to detail. Every rocking chair from Troutman Chair Co. is a small ergonomic marvel: the seat is rounded at the front and sides and the backrest also hugs the natural curve of the body, offering the best possible seating comfort. Thanks to the well-thought-out design of the traditional company from North Carolina, our rocking chair swings back and forth effortlessly and ensures immediate relaxation.
The rocking chairs from Troutman Chair Co. not only look beautiful and are extremely comfortable, their design is also a masterpiece of craftsmanship. In keeping with the spirit of tradition, as in the days of the Shakers, no glue is used in the production process and the chair is made using sophisticated carpentry techniques. It is not without reason that the company has the slogan "Worlds Best Rockers" in its logo. Sit down, make yourself comfortable, relax and rock away the worries of everyday life.
Our untreated chair would need to be finished with oil or paint of your choice, otherwise the surface would become stained. The advantage is that you can design it to suit your individual needs and interior design.
Alternatively, we also offer the larger, untreated version Plantation.
