Oyster White - Old Fashioned Milk Paint

Important note: Many more colors in the new packaging are now available!
For thousands of years, colors have been made from earth and other pigments. Milk paint colors (also known as Shaker colors ) are still made today using casein as a basis, using the old method . They come as a powder and are mixed with water in a ratio of about 1:1 . With a little more water, you get a more transparent color.

The wonderful, historical colors delight restorers, cabinet makers and hobbyists all over the world. With Milk Paint you can create a vintage or shabby chic look with simple tools. The colors can be mixed together quickly and easily, even with Snow White . This way you can create countless tones and shades. Allergy sufferers in particular love the natural color, which is compostable .

Please note: Only mix as much color powder with water as is needed, as the color can be used for a maximum of two days once it has been mixed. The color powder that has not been mixed, on the other hand, can be kept for many years .

One packet of Milk Paint contains 1 pint or 170 g of powder. When mixed normally, this yields about 0.5 litres of paint and is enough for about 3 square metres of area.
