It all began in 1968 with a crayon – Michael Kittredge used it to make his first candle, which he gave to his mother for Christmas. Shortly afterward, he founded the well-known Yankee Candle Company, which he later sold.

In 2009, his son, Mick Kittredge, followed in his father's footsteps and founded his own scented candle company: the Kringle Candle Company, also based in New England. The range combines the best of traditional and modern candle designs, specifically crafted to harmonize with any environment.

The candle wax, as with all Kringle Candles, is white. The colorful Daylight jars provide a beautiful contrast and burn for twelve hours. The Classic Jars are very decorative candle holders, and when empty, they are often collected for storing pens, paper clips, and other small items.
