The legendary American preserving jars Ball Jars or Mason jars have been used by generations of Americans to preserve their jam, fruit and other delicacies. The jars are still manufactured in the old factories in America today. But they are not only a delight for us as preserving jars - in our Munich shop we have antique jars with buttons and all sorts of other knick-knacks.
There are so many ideas for using the jars and we would like to give you a few suggestions. Today I'm serving a delicious dessert in the jars - quark dish with fresh currants. Simply take different ribbons, preferably in a color-coordinated with the fruit, and off you go!
