The Beginning of American Heritage: The Green Garage
Like all American success stories (think of Apple, HP, Microsoft and Google), the story of American Heritage also began in a garage. Admittedly a really stylish one, because it is dark green. I would like to introduce it on this occasion, because that is where our story began almost ten years ago. The first container delivery from America was stored in the green garage. Then I inscribed the words "Milk Paint" on it. Another project is an untreated Cape Cod cabinet with typical beadboard. I also treated this with milk paint and then decorated it. Both projects were featured in the current issue of Wohnen & Garten. Milk paints are powder-like paints that are mixed with water shortly before use. There are 20 different shades available, which can also be mixed together....
