Shortbread Assortment from Dean's (360 g)
A special assortment of classic shortbread fingers, petticoat tails, and rounds, all slow-baked by hand according to Dean's family recipe to create that uniquely light and crumbly flavor that melts in your mouth. Perfect for sharing, gifting, and enjoying with friends and family, or to celebrate special occasions.
The basic recipe for all Dean's shortbread creations originated in Helen Dean's kitchen in 1975. Her husband was so enthusiastic about her homemade shortbread that he decided to use the sale of the treats to finance his local marching band. Thanks to the ensemble's tours throughout England, Helen's baking skills soon became known far and wide. It wasn't long before she had to move from her kitchen to her own bakery in the village to meet customer demand. When this proved too small, a large bakery was built on the outskirts of town in 1992, which has since supplied sweet-toothed customers, even internationally, with biscuits and other delicacies made according to Helen's original shortbread recipe. Tradition is very important at Dean's, and so the Dean's Shortbread company is still family-owned and produces classic British delicacies with painstaking craftsmanship to ensure the highest quality.
