Kashmir Garam Masala spice by Urban Accents
Urban Accents' Kashmir Garam Masala spice is a spicy and hot North Indian curry blend. It consists of coriander, cardamom, cumin, cinnamon, and six other spices. This spice blend adds an authentic Indian flavor to stews or grain dishes such as rice, quinoa, couscous, millet, or bulgur. Our American Heritage tips for the Kashmir Garam Masala spice blend from Urban Accents:
- The garam masala spice can be added during cooking; however, we recommend adding the spice mix at the end (this way the full flavor is better brought out)
- For about 500 g of meat (fried or grilled) you ideally use one tablespoon of the Garam Masala spice
- If you use the spice as a rub and marinate meat, you should give the marinade some time so that the meat can absorb all the flavors
- For seasoning rice, couscous, quinoa & Co. (per cup) we recommend two teaspoons of the spice mix
