There are many names for this sweet delicacy: cinnamon roll, cinnamon bun, sticky roll, or sticky bun. Since the 18th century, they have been a popular, quite sweet and, as the name suggests, sticky breakfast pastry in America. Baked from sweet yeast dough with milk, brown sugar , and cinnamon, sometimes with raisins depending on the recipe.
